My London Villages Project
My London Village is variously Ponders End, EN3 or more accurately but less helpfully,
the distance I can reasonably walk from my home. It is therefore a moveable feast,
and subject to my whim. Ho hum -
Technique
I photograph in panoramic format. If you expect selection and simplicity forget it. I photograph in 360 degrees (sometimes in 270 or 180) and include all that I see. For each image there are 16 photographs. For each image I may take 10 sets of photos and each image can take 2 hours to properly assemble. It’s intensive. I take 100,000 photos a year.
Who
I decided that it would fun to picture Ponders End as a combination of beauty and urban jungle. Where I need it there are beautiful ladies in the foreground. In the background: Ponders End.
